Here is my heart through musical art.
Finger Painting
So Will I Piano Cover
If the stars worship, so will I. SInce I was a young child, I have always cried out to God through music. Hillsong's So WIll I is a song I feel deep within. My heart in dealing with the storms of life, longs to sing my way through the wind and rain to God. Even when the darkness calls me to be depressed, the stars and the moon remain faithful to worship. I find peace and healing when I worship. Hope you know you can find healing too, when you give God everything you have!
Fairest Lord Jesus
I recorded Fairest Lord Jesus in my Dad's bedroom, day 13 of hospice for him. He had struggled with cancer for over three years. Some people do not see God as fair. But do we deserve the right to tell the painter what he should paint? What if there is a giant tapestry in the end, that could not be as beautiful as it needs to be without pain. Clay, in order to be shaped and made into something extraordinary, needs to be pounded and worked rigorously. The pain in life is not fun, but it is present for a purpose. We each must learn and be shaped through the challenges life brings. We must trust this process. I am a more useful vessel having been worked through rigorously. Don't throw in the towel. Instead pick it up, wipe off the sweat, and ask God to help you to see all there is to see. There is a beautiful picture to paint and interesting that there can be no "paint" without "pain"! Will you pick up your brush and paint with me?
Christmas Nocturne Impromptu
Christmas night, my son, Paul Amelang, decided to capture an unplanned evening of Christmas worship. There are mistakes but there is no way to edit a live improv. This is from my heart of appreciation to Heavenly Father and to my King and Savior, Jesus Christ. Even though Christmas is not the actual day Jesus was born, I praise and honor Him for this is the day we celebrate His birth. I don’t know where I would be without Him shining the light and truth in every moment of darkness and fear. I am so glad He came to make a way for us sinners. I deserve hell and nothing more but for His grace and sacrifice, I have hope … peace…. faith, and love. May you know the same Jesus that I do. He is very kind and patient and He grants faith that moves major mountains into the sea. May you experience God's love and peace and presence through this time of worship.
